This weather has seriously been CRAZY. One day it’s in the breezy 60’s, the next day we have 2 inches of snow. Come on mother nature, I just want spring so I can bring out more colorful/floral pieces! This weekend I wore this to a St. Patty’s gone Mardi Gras party…it was a total coincidence that my necklace was purple and I lucked out. Apparently I was the only one who didn’t get the memo. This sweater is much more neon-greeny than in the pictures. Come on, would I really roll up to a “St. Patty’s” party in yellow?!

If you ask me what my favorite piece is in my closet it HAS to be these moto-leather jeggings. I got them from Forever 21 about 3 years ago for $15 and it has to be the best purchase I have ever made. They are extremely thick to keep me warm yet so comfy they feel like leggings. Perfect for the nighttime look but casual enough for the daytime. I wish I bought 4 pairs of these because I will wear them forever and ever and the wear and tear is definitely showing.

Little secret: I probably end up buying at least one new pair of shoes every month (sorry WP…but you know it’s no secret). WP always asks “so when did you get those?” My answer is always “oh, a while ago.” But in my defense they are always on sale and a sale TOO GOOD to pass up. Like these black Mossimo wedges…for $8!!! I originally got the brown ones on sale for $20 (worn here) and I thought THAT was a steal. Went back to Target the week after and found these…too perfect 🙂

Side note: I’ve been channelling my inner amateur-wanna-be photographer side and edited nearly 300 photos from an engagement party. Bottom line: IT IS HARD. I’m always used to taking photos of people who are posed and this paparazzi type of photography is definitley hard. Now I understand 1) why wedding photographers charge so much. and 2) why paparazzi charge so much for their single photo and lastly 3) MAD respect for the photographers out there. This is definitley a work in progress for me and I can’t wait to learn more!
